To: ham-ant@ucsd.edu Hi. We had been using a Hygain G-7 antenna. The antenna was generating noise on the receive side of our repeater whenever the transmitter was above 5 watts. We swapped the G-7 with a ringo and the noise moved. So now we are looking at obtaining a replacement. We have some information on colinear antennas. I was wondering what type of antennas are recommended or a list of ones to stay away from. We want something that will last and not give us any more problems with noise. The repeater is on 146.655 -.600 pl 107.2 Thanks for any replys. 73 de3 kf9cs in Appleton, wi cul Mark Work: mark.heimmermann@plexus.com Home: 76210.1033@compuserve.com Packet: KF9CS @KA9JAC.WI.USA.NOAM ------------------------------ End of Ham-Ant Digest V94 #310 ******************************
